In this guide, learn to create your first Programmatic SEO project for a fictional SaaS called Bookify. Bookify lets you listen to key insights of business books as a short audio clip - very similar to blinkify.com.
To create Programmatic SEO pages for Bookify, we will need to use Engyne's Page Designer tool. This tool allows us to easily create and customize pages using data from Airtable.
Once we have prepared our data in Airtable, we can sync it with Engyne and begin designing our pages. We will create a title, add an image, preview all pages, add a call-to-action, publish all pages, and connect a custom domain.
By following these steps, we can create effective Programmatic SEO pages for Bookify that will help drive traffic and increase conversions.
Start by logging in to your Engyne account at https://app.launchman.com. You will need to use your Google sign in.
Create a new site by clicking Add Site
button on the top right. Fill in the details.
Click Create.
Engyne will automatically assign you a subdomain based on your Site name. This is where all the published pages will live. Since we are just prototyping the pages right now, this is completely okay. When going into production however, a custom domain should be used instead.
A Collection is a grouping of Programmatic SEO pages. Each collection has its own page template and data.
Typically you would want to create a collection for each content angle you would like to experiment with.
Keeping it simple for Bookify, we can create a collection of pages that targets - <Book Title> summary
.
Click on Create a new collection and name it - Book summary
.
Before we can start creating our page template, we need data that will go on each page. This is where Airtable comes in handy to gather, clean, and prep our data.
Open up your Airtable account. Create a new base in your Airtable. Call it Books
.
Create these columns with the field type:
Populate the table with the relevant information for each book.
You can also import your CSV. I’ve already prepared this for you. Download this data as CSC:

We can now bring this data into Engyne to start creating pages with.
To do this, go to Your Collection > Settings
> Connect Airtable
.
https://airtable.com/appxxx/tblxxx/viwxxx?blocks=hide
Click Save and Engyne will automatically import your data.
You can also click on the Sync Data
button to re-sync items after the Airtable data is updated.
Your data from Airtable will now be available in Engyne's Page Designer, allowing you to easily create and customize pages for your Programmatic SEO project.
Click on Design your Page
to open the Page Designer.
Page Designer lets you create content on the page like text, images, video using drag and drop controls - very similar to Webflow. Markdown is used to format text - headings, bold, italics are all supported.
Add a title at the top of the page by adding a ****Text******** component and add:
# {{Book Title}}: Summary and Notes
Notice how we used the {{
to bring up a list of column headers from Airtable. This is the real power of Engyne. Once a Page Template is created, we generate pages per Airtable row by dynamically switching out values per page.
Use the arrow keys on the top-right to scrub through the generated page variations.
Add more content by including the summary and the reasons why you should and shouldn’t read this book like so:
# {{Book Title}}: Summary and Notes
{{Summary}}
## Why you should read this:
{{Why read this}}
## Why this book might not be as useful to you:
{{Why to not read this}}
Wrap it up by adding a Call to Action component:
Currently all our pages have the same URL and SEO tags. Before we publish, we need to fix this.
In the SEO tab:
/summary/{{Book Title}}
{{Book Title}}
{{Book Title}} is a great book to read for any budding new founder out there. Sign up for Bookify for more book summaries.
Now we can hit Publish
and preview all our pages at: <subdomain>.launchman.page
You can also open a specific page by clicking the ******Preview URL**********:
